Biofeedback
Definition
A therapeutic technique that measures physiological signals (for example, heart rate variability, muscle electromyography, skin conductance or respiratory pattern) and presents those signals in real time to a patient and/or clinician so the patient can learn to voluntarily modify the targeted bodily function through guided practice.
