Beamforming

A signal‑processing technique that applies complex amplitude-and-phase weights across the elements of an antenna array so that the array’s transmit or receive spatial response is shaped to increase gain toward specified directions and suppress energy from others; implemented in analog, digital, or hybrid domains and requiring channel or direction information to align the array response.
