Bayesian Hierarchical Model

A statistical modelling framework that represents data and parameters at multiple nested levels (for example: animal, herd, region) and applies Bayesian inference—combining prior information with observed data—to estimate parameters, propagate uncertainty and allow partial pooling across groups.
