Anastomotic Stricture

Pathologic narrowing of a lumen at or adjacent to a surgical anastomosis that impairs physiological flow or passage, producing symptoms or functional disturbance and often reflecting scar formation, ischemia, inflammation or technical factors at the anastomotic site.
