Amplitude Imbalance

A differential gain mismatch between parallel signal paths or between the in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q) components that produces unequal amplitudes for nominally orthogonal signal components, altering constellation geometry and amplitude relationships without necessarily changing phase reference.
