Definition

A law for ideal blackbody radiation stating that the wavelength λ_max at which the spectral radiance per unit wavelength is maximal is inversely proportional to the absolute temperature T of the emitter: λ_max = b / T, where b ≈ 2.89777×10⁻³ m·K.
