Definition

A thermodynamic relation that quantifies how an equilibrium constant K for a given chemical reaction changes with absolute temperature T, usually expressed differentially as d(ln K)/dT = ΔH°/(R T²) or in integrated form ln(K2/K1)= -ΔH°/R (1/T2 − 1/T1), where ΔH° is the standard reaction enthalpy and R is the gas constant.
