Definition

A protective-relief concept defining court-ordered restrictions and safety measures in response to family or intimate-partner abuse allegations. It imposes contact limits, residence exclusions, and related conditions through defined findings and procedural safeguards. It does not dissolve a relationship by itself and does not substitute for separate criminal proceedings when applicable.
