Definition

A factory‑manufactured composite building panel comprised of a rigid insulating core (commonly expanded polystyrene, polyurethane or polyisocyanurate) sandwiched between two structural facings (typically oriented strand board or similar), assembled into wall, roof or floor panels that provide both structural support and continuous thermal insulation when panels are joined and sealed.
