A prosthodontic principle stating that the optimal location for denture teeth and prosthesis contours is the oral space where the outward forces of the tongue and the inward forces of the cheeks and lips are in equilibrium during function; positioning within this neutral zone maximizes prosthesis stability, retention and patient comfort by aligning prosthetic form with dominant muscular vectors.
