Systemic connections and channels through which macroeconomic variables (such as output, employment, inflation, interest rates and expectations) and the financial system (asset prices, credit supply, leverage, liquidity, and risk premia) mutually influence one another; these linkages describe how shocks propagate between the real economy and financial markets and how feedback loops can amplify or
