Definition

A ground‑improvement technique in which high‑velocity fluid jets (water, air or a water–cement/chemical grout) are used to erode and entrain in‑situ soil, mixing it with grout that then hardens in place to form engineered columns, panels or blocks of soil–cement (soilcrete) with specified geometry and mechanical properties for underpinning, cutoff, leakage control or stiffness improvement.
