Definition

A building system in which hollow, rigid insulating forms or panels are assembled and left in place as permanent formwork; reinforced concrete is cast in the assembled forms to create load‑bearing walls or elements while the remaining form provides continuous thermal insulation, an air barrier and part of the enclosure.
