A blind‑ended lymphatic capillary located in the core of an intestinal villus that collects interstitial fluid enriched with absorbed dietary lipids (in the form of chylomicrons) and transports lipid‑laden chyle into the mesenteric lymphatic network for eventual entry into the systemic circulation.
