L'opération algébrique qui récupère un polynôme ou un système affine à partir d'un polynôme homogène (projectif) en spécialisant la variable d'homogénéisation à une constante non nulle (souvent 1) ou en choisissant une carte affine ; elle transforme des équations homogènes en coordonnées projectives en équations usuelles en coordonnées affines.
