Définition

Une arête dans un complexe polyédral ou simplicial dont les facettes incidentes (faces ou cellules de dimension supérieure) se rejoignent selon un motif qui ne produit pas un voisinage homéomorphe à un disque multiplié par un intervalle, de sorte que la topologie locale viole la condition de variété en cet endroit.
