Définition

L'échantillonnage par ROV désigne la collecte ciblée de matériaux du fond, d'échantillons biologiques ou de mesures instrumentées à l'aide d'un véhicule téléopéré équipé de manipulateurs, d'aspirateurs, de carotteurs ou de boîtes d'échantillons, sous contrôle direct d'un opérateur depuis la surface.
