Definition

A family of layer‑by‑layer fabrication processes that produce parts directly from a digital model by selectively adding, fusing or curing material (metal, polymer, ceramic) according to successive cross‑sections, enabling complex internal geometries and topology that are difficult or impossible with subtractive methods or molding.
