Définition

Une fonction g(n) est un ordre normal de f(n) si f(n)/g(n) → 1 pour presque tout n, c'est-à-dire que la proportion des n≤x pour lesquels f(n) s'écarte sensiblement de g(n) tend vers zéro quand x→∞ ; elle décrit la taille typique de f sur un ensemble de densité naturelle pleine.
