Definition

A representation of an electrical component or subsystem by an arrangement of idealized circuit elements (resistors, inductors, capacitors, independent and controlled sources, and sometimes dependent elements) chosen to reproduce the component’s terminal steady-state and/or dynamic electrical behavior within a specified frequency, temperature and operating range.
