Definition

An epistemological view that grounds the epistemic justification of a belief in the reliability of the cognitive process that produced it: a belief is justified (or epistemically warranted) when it reliably yields true beliefs across relevant circumstances, regardless of the subject's reflective access to justificatory reasons.
