Definition

In der Theorie der Prime Ends für ein Gebiet D ist ein Hauptpunkt (principal point) ein Randpunkt x, so dass x das einzige Element der Impression (Grenzmenge) eines Prime Ends ist; anders gesagt ist die Impression dieses Prime Ends die Einermenge {x}, sodass das Prime End x als seinen ausgezeichneten Zugangsrepräsentanten bestimmt.
